As part of my A2 coursework I was asked to produce a music video and 2 ancillary tasks. My music video is based on Jack Johnson's Better Together. I also made a digipak and website alongside this. I worked alongside Rhianon Morris, Holli McGann and Antonia Moss on my research and planning, and main music video construction tasks.

DIGIPAK CHANGES
Upon feedback I decided to make some changes to my digipak. I added warm filters on my pictures and increased the brightness. I also decided to change the style of background for my digipak and made changes to the colours and font of the text. However, in order to create a brand identity I feel like the colour of my text should change to match the website which is something I will experiment with to see whether it works better or not.

WEBSITE CHANGES
Website Update
I have made some more improvements to my website. I decided to go back to my original colour scheme as I felt it portrays the artist as an individual more. I have made changes to the font and colours of the text as I have been given some feedback upon these elements and how they were difficult to see. Additionally I have updated the version of the music video I had on the website previously. I plan to add some background music to my website as this is one of the codes and conventions I came across when looking into existing webpages and I feel it will give my website a sense of professionalism.

WEBSITE CHANGES
As I was making changes to my website I decided to see what another colour scheme would look like that linked with the text in our music video and also my digipak. However, I received some verbal feedback from my friends and was told that red was too vibrant and invasive and all my products didn't necessarily have to link. Having a separate identity for the artist reflected through the webpage and having a separate identity for their music reflected through the video and album cover was better. Upon this feedback I will make some more changes and try and find a balance in which all my products still interlink in order to reflect a brand identity but also individually reflects elements of the artist and their music.

Music Video
This is our what we think is our final music video. We have posted this on facebook to get some feedback from others and see what their interpretations of it are. I will use this feedback in order to evaluate our progress and developments effectively.
