First Draft- DIGIPAK

This is the first draft of my digipak. I wanted to keep my digipak fairly simple which is why I have chosen 3 images and one background for the back of my digipak. I stuck with the colour green as it is coherent with my webpage and I wanted to keep it that way througout. I have included the copmany name at the bottom of my digipak and I intend on making a small logo for our company to go beside this. 

First Draft- MUSIC VIDEO

This is the first draft of our music video to Jack Johnson's "Better Together." We have left three gaps within the sequence, for all of which we have discussed what we would like to see in there and how we can get hold of this footage. Across the three gaps we would like to use footage from childhood. For this we would like to include some old fashioned video tapes of children playing. Because we have explored adult relationships, we see the need for some footage of the younger age group. We also thought about getting some footage over Christmas. This will be good because it will be lots of family together, enjoying themselves and spending quality time together which perfectly encompasses our theme. We will get as much footage as we can between us and then see which sections fit best in the gaps, alongside the lyrics and music. We are also going to include a montage of lots of different couples right at the end. For this we will split the screen into sections and present lots of people spending time together. We feel this will bring everything together and finish off the video nicely. We have started to work on this but still haven't got the rught footage that we would like to include in it as of yet.
We asked Miss Dolby for some feedback a few days ago to see if there were any last changes or improvements that we could do and she suggested the following;
- Move the sunset footage to the instrumental
- Disgard some footage of the artist in the alley as it was unclear and we couldn't see him very well.
- Lighten some of the clips so the colours were more crisp.
We made these changes. We are happy with our first draft and have spent a lot of time on it and feel, at this time, it is the best it can be.

Production Log

Today we worked more on the editing of our video, we now only have a few gaps to refill. I also worked on my webpage some more adding more features to it. We also watched some existing A2 music videos from different levels. This was very helpful because we were able to see the marks they got and see why they got those marks. We can now use this to help us distinguish what is going to get us marks in our video.

Production Log

This week our music video has really come together. There is now a clear beginning, middle and end and we have also begun to work on the continuity of our clips deciding that we will have our video starting off in day time and finishing in the night. We have decided to have a split screen clip that shows all the couples in the video and the artist in the middle as we think it will be a good way of bringing all the concepts together. We have changed the pace of some of the clips as well to fit better with the track. Additionally, I have also made some progress with my ancillary tasks making improvements to my webpage. The construction of our video is almost nearly finished and our group is now mainly focussing on ancillaries. Next week we hope to have our video finished then we can focus on our ancillaries.

This week we have made a lot of progress on our music video in terms of editing and covering most of the song. I have also made some progress on my ancillary tasks having nearly finished my webpage for Jack Johnson.
